"Ooops" momentsOkay...We have all done it. Your on an investigation, and everything is going good, and suddenly..."DUH!"
I want to know about everyones goofy investigation mistakes (and seriously hoping that I truely am not the only one to have them! hehe).
We were invited to an investigation at The Vernon Manor Hotel in Cincinnati, Ohio. Our suite was on the floor that had a reported murder/suicide (in the late 60's, I believe...have to check my notes). When it was bedtime, we decided to leave the camera running, just in case something showed up. Imagine our surprise during the evidence review when we discovered the bedroom camera had actually caught something!! Dennis, who had confiscated the only real bed in the suite, had neglected to turn off the camera when he was getting ready for bed.

TappingOn a more serious note,,,lol,,,At our most recent investigation when Nancy and I were down sstairs in the basement, we kept hearing little tapping noises, knew for sure it was the dog running around upstairs, made a comment on it, like I sure am glad we know there is a dog up there,,,,,turns out, the dog was in the owners lap. None of it was recorded for some reason,,,,,we should have gone upstairs to see where exactly that dog was.
